A standard portal was described as a blue swirl that stays open for 15 minutes. You clear rooms until a door opens, then a boss. That article gives the boss about a 1-in-3 arise chance. Treat that as their figure, not a tested rate from this site.
Portal colors
| Portal | What they say is inside |
|---|---|
| Blue | Ranked dungeon from E through S, normal enemies plus a boss |
| Red | Brute dungeon, large high-health versions of the mobs |
| Exit timer stalls near 10 seconds | Double dungeon. Clear again and look for the Monarch |
Red portals are the brute hunt. A small mob's brute was described as usually one rank higher, with a small chance to jump an extra rank.
Tickets
The same article lists tickets per clear as E 1, D 2, C 3, B 6, A 15 to 20, and S 20 to 30. Spend them in the ticket shop. The passes they tell you to buy first are Double XP and Extra Equip, then Auto Attack. Switch the shop to ticket mode so you are not looking at the Robux prices.
Party play: Join still pays the clear and still lets you attempt the boss arise if you land a hit. Use that when the rank is above your solo clear.
Monarch window
After the boss, a countdown sends you out. If it stalls around 10 seconds, go back through the portal at once. That second clear is the double dungeon and is described as the way to meet the Monarch. This is a different fight from the Halloween Pumpkin King and from the Snow Monarch.
Loot besides shadows
Rare weapons can drop from high-rank clears. Destroying bodies inside the dungeon can drop legendary powder dust for enchanting back in Leveling City. Merging three weapons at the upgrader was priced at 10,000 gems in that article. Merging a full E-through-S set of one character into an SS was also priced at 10,000 gems per merge. Those gem prices are from that dungeon guide. Later six-to-one crafts use dust and tickets instead, so read the window you actually have open.
Spawn conflict
This article says a portal every 30 minutes and a guaranteed S-rank about every 3 hours, with the exact S-rank clock left to Discord. The island-order page says a 15-minute cycle and five UTC times. Check the live marker before you cross the map for a portal that is not up.
Travel with a boat or flying mount. Boat shops were described on islands for players who have no mount yet. The portal will not wait for a swim.
